SMT & PCBA coordination

Prepare, quote and coordinate PCB assembly with specialist SMT partners.

We help product teams organize assembly files, component decisions, sample runs and test expectations so quotations and production feedback can be handled efficiently.

Our approach

Give the assembly partner a complete and reviewable package.

Good SMT coordination starts before placement. We review the available PCB data, identify missing information, align substitutions and define what must be checked after assembly.

Capabilities

What we can support

  • Gerber, BOM and centroid or pick-and-place file review
  • Quotation and lead-time coordination with SMT/PCBA partners
  • Component availability and substitution approval workflow
  • Prototype or sample-run follow-up
  • Visual, electrical and functional-test planning

Handover

Typical deliverables

  • Assembly-ready file checklist
  • Clarification and component-substitution log
  • Partner quotation comparison for the agreed scope
  • Sample-build issue and feedback record
  • Inspection and functional-test requirements
Delivery note

SMT production is performed by selected manufacturing partners. Capacity, lead time, yield and component availability depend on the selected partner, PCB design and current BOM conditions.

Frequently asked questions

What teams usually ask first.

What files are normally required?

Typically Gerber fabrication data, BOM, centroid or pick-and-place data, assembly drawings and any programming or test requirements. We can review what you already have.

Can you coordinate a small sample batch?

Yes. We can request and coordinate prototype or low-volume assembly, subject to partner minimums and component availability.

Can the assembled boards be functionally tested?

Yes, when test points, firmware, fixtures and acceptance criteria are available or included in the agreed engineering scope.
